I miss you

It seems like the natural combination with this gorgeous Laser Glossy Lustre paper is pink.  Looking over the blog spots of the other designers on the Paper Temptress Design Team, I see pink to be a common color combination with this awesome paper.  Another great combination to achieve an elegant look with the Lustre paper is the wonderful Marble White vellum that Patricia sell. (which is on special all during June – so stock up!)

I chose to create a card to let my daughter know how much I miss her, since it’s been a year since I’ve actually seen her.  *sigh*.  While she may be hundreds of miles away (another state in fact) that doesn’t mean that I don’t think of her every day and miss her terribly, so i thought a little card would be just the thing to let her know she’s on my mind.

Using my Top Note Bigz die and the lovely Rose Quartz Metallic cardstock I created the mat for my vellum envelope that was also die cut from my Scalloped Envelope Bigz die from Sizzix. The note card that I created to go into the envelope was white layered on to a matching piece of pink from the Pop Tones line.  A little ribbon here, a layer of lace there, and I have a nice feminine and elegant card to let my daughter know how much I miss her.  Do you have someone special that would like to know you’re thinking of them?  If so, what are you waiting for…get that card in the mail.

Thanks for looking in today!
