There is still time to make a Father’s Day card!

golfer-torn-frame-1 And I had such fun making this one. You have heard from Patricia about the new papers she has and how wonderful they are. Well, I can tell you that the new Ruche papers are just TOO COOL!  They have such texture and the colors are vivid. When I felt this paper the first time, I knew I had to get out my distressing tool. I used it on the frame around the golfer and got just the results I was looking for. This paper is a dream to distress! I used the Deep Blue Crepe.

If you remember a while back, I made a check book cover for a Mother’s day gift. Well, I used the smae paper here for the argyle looking part of the card. It is the Velvet Touch Paper and I used the Cream Velvet. I used all distress inks on it and heat set the first layer before I put the aged look on it. The thing about this paper is how the ink blends on it. It is like icing a cake only easier, LOL! It is smooth and workable. I love it!

I also used Cryogen White for the body and a layer on the card. This is one of my most favorites. All stamps are from Hearts in Touch.
