I am a very patriotic person. I get goose bumps when I hear the Star Spangled Banner and have been known to cry at parades. So I had to make another card for our nation’s Independance Day. I was surfing around the blogs tonight and came across this color throw down and it was perfect!! I had already colored the fairy image and had the saying matted and ready (I love that saying and plan on using it again and again)! I created the background [...] Paper Temptress papers are so wonderful and versatile, the papers add so much to cards and scrap book pages and of course paper projects. Given that we are in the middle of “growing” season, I thought it would be fun to make a 3-D Watering Can, something you can make but do a number [...] Paper: Greenbrier Grandee Felt, Kraft – Paper TemptressStamps – Artistic Oupost She-Roes Ink – Memento Rich Cocoa Misc – Stampin’ UP! Hodgepodge Hardware in Antique Brass, misc photo corners, nestabilities, Ranger Sepia [...] Yeah, I can now scrapbook my favorite size which is 12×12 . I used Basis Light Blue 12 x 12 for the base. The paper behind the photos is Galaxy Gold. I stamped Studio G Blue using a stamp from Clear Dollar Stamps. The text base is Sparkle Mangue than topped with Incandescent [...] I have been raving about the Laser Silver Lustre and how amazing it looks when stamped and colored for quite some time now. Everyone always told me, it is too pretty to stamp on and I had strongly disagreed. Well here is proof that I was right all along LOL!! Denise from Paper Landscapers [...] I love Paper Temptress cardstocks for fast, easy and WOW gift packaging!! This project took only minutes to create. Doesn’t look like it though, right??? I started out by die cuttingRetro Gold Glossy Lustre with a die at a local scrapbooking store. Easy-peasy!! Next, I took one of my favorite dragonfly stamps (strongstamps.com) and [...] The Ruche paper has unbelievable texture and the colors just pop. I am really in love with it. It looks and feels like fabric yet very sturdy. For this card I used Green, Khaki & Cocoa Ruche papers. Image is from #128 HIT Toys for Men. This is a dinosaur that I drew and mom entered into a contest on TreeHouse Stamps. (I named him Philip) The lady there is going to have them for sale tomorrow.
