Happy Wednesday! I have a fun fresh summer card to share with you today. The layout came from this week’s Splitcoast Stampers’ Sketch Challenge (SC229). As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I was going to do with it and so here it is, BYOB – Bring Your Own Bottle.

This fun new set is called Wee Tees from the Gina K. Designs illustrated by the fabulous Melanie Muenchinger. Don’t you just love the sentiment. I envision this card being used for a play date or perhaps a birthday invite. The paper I used is all from Paper Temptress…love the fun texture and vibrant colors I got from the Astrobrights Textured card stock. It just cried out summer to me and you all know I’ve been in a summer type of mood as of late.

For embellishments I used gingham ribbon, satin ribbon, buttons, and halfback pearls. On the mail panel, I decided to give it some texture and ran it through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Stamps: Gina K. Designs: Wee Tees

Paper:Paper Temptress: White Paper; Astrobrights card stock

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Accessories: Halfback Pearls; Cuttelebug; Swiss Dots; Black Gingham Ribbon; White Satin Ribbon; Buttons; Primas
Thanks for stopping by and check back tomorrow for Altered Item Thursday!

Hope you have a great day!

  • I love the colors here – very bright and cheery! The added details of the embellies and embossing really set the card off!
