Mother’s Day Garden

Just in time for Mother’s Day, I thought I would share a card. I have to just let you know that I’m in love with the paper I used for this card and more specifically the Plastic Touch paper (the black paper seen on this card).

Mother's Day Garden

I was so excited to have received my new Gian K.’s Friendship’s Garden set and had to ink it up right away. The card base is square and on top I adhered a piece of Paper Temptress Black Plastic Touch paper – can’t even begin to tell you how yummy it is! I then added a piece of piece of white paper of which I ran about 1/3 through the crimper and used a scrap piece of the crimped paper to paper piece onto the pot.

The image and sentiment I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and using the Copics I outline the leaves, stem and flower. I then added halfback pearls to the center of the flowers and to the corner of the piece. I added some ribbon to divided the textured section from the image section and adhered it to the card front.

For the sentiment I adhered it to a Oval Scallop Designer Paper and then that to the card front with some dimensionals. I finished it off with some halfback pearls.

I was so happy how this card turned out and to add more to my happiness, it was selected as one of ten cards/projects to be displayed as May’s Center stage on Stamp TV!!!

Hope you have a great day!
