My first post here : )

Hi everyone, my name is Jacquie Heffner and I am very excited to be a new Paper Temptress Design Team member.   For almost a year now I have been blogging about rubber stamping on my blog, AfterHoursStamper.com, and each day my rubber stamping addiction increases.  On my blog I do tutorials, product comparisons, I find all sorts of neat stamp related links and resources, and once in a while a card or two.

I have used Paper Temptress’s papers for a while now, and without a doubt they are the very best in so many wonderful ways.  Tonight I wanted to share some quick and easy cards to make for upcoming events: Graduation and Mother’s Day.  All papers used in these two cards are from Paper Temptress, my favorite being the sparkle paper (forgot to mention that I love any type of bling).

Here is the graduation card:

I used the Blanc and Nero Sparkle, it is just amazing in person!  And I also added a bit of Red Premium Glossy that I created a fireworks background with. The Blanc and Nero Sparkle layers are cut from a nestibilities die and then layered. The “diploma” was hand made, just a small piece of paper rolled up and tied with some metallic embroidery floss.

The Mother’s Day card was fun, and I used the Cordovan Leather (which is on sale for 40% off the whole month of April),  gives the card a real punch, also used (again) the Blanc and Nero Sparkle paper (I LOVE that paper, it truly sparkles IRL).  I stamped the images in black pigment ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. Inside the card I stamped a “Happy Mother’s Day” in black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

The images are from one of the new sets of  “inchies” from Inkadinkado. I am having a blast using as you can combine them so many different ways.

Next time I will be sharing a fun project with you, until then, have a GREAT rest of your night and an even better tomorrow.
