I made this card last night in maybe 10 minutes. I stamped the Girl in the shoe from Bombshell stamps with Momento Tuxedo ink but it takes a little bit too dry so don’t color immediately. A heat gun can be used on this cardstock just keep a little distance between the cardstock and the gun. I wasn’t in a hurry so I let it dry naturally. Then I colored it in with copic markers (have I told you yet that I am taking Marianne’s copic class on Wednesday, I AM SOOOO EXCITED!). I love this cardstock for many reasons but one of them is that the inside of the card is a really nice matte white so it makes it PERFECT for cards. The holographic effect of this cardstock is truly amazing looking too. I added the balloons and the sentiment. With this cardstock you don’t need to add any layers or embellishments and it is still fabulous!! Next time I use this stamp I am going to stamp the shoe on either the leather, velvet, or suede touch papers and then cut it out give it a 3d effect. How fabulous is that going to look? Well once I get an idea I have to do it so here is my idea? Looks pretty kewl, doesn’t it? This is the Cordovan Leather that is 40% off this month! A sheet for .65 is a real bargain. While doing this I also thought of those great corner punches that I have and see everywhere from EK Success and just how great this leather would look at a frame corner. Now again, not a great colorer!! Pretty obvious!! LOL.
