WINE GLASS LAMPSHADE
Supplies
HW Clear Vellum from
colored pencils
green ink
strong double sided glue
gold leaf pen
1/4 ribbon or rickrack
black embossing powder and embossing ink pad
Stamps are from The Angel Company, Serendipity Catalog, Beautiful Day
Cut out the lampshade from the Heavy Weight Clear Vellum using your digital cutter or hand cut from the .jpg pattern. Stamp and emboss the flowers and birds, be careful not to get the heatgun too close to the vellum (can you tell I did?) when you heat emboss, it will bubble. I colored the birds and flowers with colored pencils, copic markers or water colors would probably work better, it’s hard to color around the embossed area. I sponged green ink under the flowers and birds. Then followed the edge with my gold leaf pen. Glue the shade together matching up the bottom end scallops using a strong glue, an atg gun or doublesided sticky tape. Then glue on the rickrack. I did put some small pieces of tape around the rim of the glass to keep it from slipping. Place a tealight in the glass. Never leave a candle unattended. Thank you very much Diana’s Designs

This is so cute. I can’t wait to try it out! I now have a purpose for the large water/wine glasses I bought at Dollar General.
Totally perfect Diana! I can’t get enough of that vellum & your template is the ideal way to use it. :O)
